Eppendorf 25mL錐形離心管是細胞培養應用匯合操作的理想工具，如進行匯合 3 x T75 培養瓶(25mL)的培養基的操作。最大離心可耐受最高達 RCF 17000×g離心條件，還可用于微生物和分子實驗室樣品制備，如使用大量生物起始物料進行midi prep 細菌培養、克隆、DNA提取。
管直徑與50mL錐形管相同，可以兼容現有多種常用實驗室設備，如離心用適配器、Eppendorf SmartBlock、MixMate管架、儲存盒和單離心管架等，方便離心、混合和加熱以及樣品制備和儲存操作。
管的長度比50mL錐形管短，進行移液操作是，移液器插入管深度更淺，即便使用小量程移液器和吸頭?也能輕松移取樣品，并可降低移液器和離心管之間的交叉污染風險。
25mL離心管可以配備螺旋蓋或創新性SnapTec彈扣蓋。SnapTec管蓋不僅便于單手開關，可以快速移取液體，并且SnapTec扣蓋管整體可在高達 121℃下高溫高壓滅菌20分鐘。螺旋蓋的材質為高密度聚乙烯 (HDPE)，具有特殊外形設計，蓋的側面平整，蓋從管上取下后可自我穩定直立，降低實驗臺面與管蓋、操作手套的污染。
高純凈原生材質，符合 USP 6 級標準，生產過程中不會添加塑化劑、潤滑劑和抑菌劑等添加劑，確保樣品高度純凈，以及樣品或沉淀清晰可見。
潔凈等級（Purity grade）：每批均經過檢測和認證,無菌(sterile)、無熱原（pyrogen-free）、無 DNase、RNase 和 DNA（人類和細菌）(DNase-free, RNase-free, human and bacterial DNA-free)。
在-86℃至100℃溫度范圍保持良好密封。
